The bar I built and the story it tells

The sun was bright in the sky.  But it was empty and lonely, though free 

Until he was joined by his daughters and they showed him the beauty of the world.  They wanted to see it all. Even though there were storms he watched them with pride, love, and a little sadness as they uprooted themselves to sail upon the wind down the river of life.
He had tried to point the way.  He knew they would keep their heads above the waters

Gaining experience and along with it wisdom in all the rapids.  No matter the storm or the beautiful flowers along the river.  The sun knew, in his heart, that the strength of those flowers had a few rays of his warmth to carry with them.  
One thing he needed them to know, is that they could always follow the river home.
