countdown

It started the moment you blinked into existence. Life. Two cells. Four. The mathematic march spirals into, and immediately blows past the capability and border of mortal mind.
Life growing on one hand, ticking on the other.
The eternal equalizer replayed infinite. Most dismiss as mediocre, drab, boring. A chore.
The Miracle of you, of me, of those you despise, and love, is well miraculous. Tedious is a lifestyle choice.
All of that is gloriously written of course. Why? Because I know in my heart that there is a 3rd line. Unseen but felt and true by all. It is the count down to the moment. The Occasion. The one where you can and will make a difference. Correct a course. Right a wrong. Wrong a right. When that moment comes you’re going to wonder if you can rise to it. Fuck that. Be ready and take it in stride. Be prepared.

Declare to the only one who listens to you fully, yourself, “No more NPC shuffle loop.”. Start looking up as you move about. Observe and interact with every moment you can. Unplug that damnable autopilot.

Then walk on my friends, carry it with you in your heart. Know that you changed a course that will ripple beyond our meager countdown. Live. Be prepared.
